I'm looking to try and experiment with Linux Mint for the first time. I'm reading the Linux Mint User Guide about Torrent (which I never used before).
Is there a free Torrent client that's recommended for Mac? I found uTorrent (https://www.utorrent.com/downloads/mac) and I'm wondering whether any of you OS X people have used it and what was your experience. There's no mention on the uTorrent website as to which OS X version is supported, so I'm not even sure that my relatively old 10.6.8 will be supported.

VLC media player requires Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later. It runs on any 64bit Intel-based Mac. Previous devices are supported by older releases.
